Eddie Heard Jr., a seasoned artist of several decades, hails from Wharton County, Texas. His paintings are a labor of profound patience and love, reflecting his deep connection to the tapestry of life's myriad experiences. Heard honed his craft at the Washington School of Art and the San Francisco Academy of Art. Beyond his meticulously detailed paintings, Heard also gained experience working in ceramics, silk screen printing, and animation. Confronted with a dearth of opportunities in the art world, Heard forged his own path by establishing his own business, Heard Graphic Arts. He continues to practice his craft everyday, and despite having shown in a museum show, "Light of this World by Eddie Heard Jr." will be the first solo exhibition of his long artistic career.
